Campaign Overview
Orlando Pirates x Studio 88 / adidas — #OnceAlwaysStories Competition. Participants post a photo or video wearing their favourite Orlando Pirates jersey and explain what the jersey means to them for a chance to win match tickets to the Soweto Derby at FNB Stadium on 28 February 2026.
1. Campaign Period and Key Dates
- Competition Commences: 16 February 2026 at 09:00.
- Competition Closes: 23 February 2026 at 23:59.
- Winners Announced: 26 February 2026.
- Match date: 28 February 2026 at FNB Stadium.
2. Eligibility
- Open to: Natural persons 18 years or older at the date of entry who are permanent residents of the Republic of South Africa and hold a valid South African ID book or smart ID card.
- Excluded: Directors, members, partners, spouses, life partners, immediate family members, employees, agents, or consultants of the Promoters, their advertising agencies, suppliers, or any person directly involved in the administration of the Competition.
- Recent winner Exclusion: Anyone who has won a competition organised or promoted by Studio 88 within 183 days prior to the Competition start date is ineligible, as is anyone residing at the same address as such a recent winner.
3. How to Enter (entry mechanics)
To enter, a participant must:
- Post an in feed photo or video (image/video/reel) on a public social media account showing them wearing their favourite Orlando Pirates jersey;
- In the post caption, explain what the jersey means to yourself;
- Include the hashtag #OnceAlwaysStories and tag @Studio88 in the post;
- Multiple compliant entries are permitted.
4. Invalid Entries
Posts from private accounts, Instagram/Facebook Stories, posts missing the hashtag or tagging us, will not be tracked and will be invalid.
5. Entry Validation and Selection of Winners
- Only entries that comply with the requirements in Section 4 will be considered valid. The Promoters reserve the right to verify identity, age, residency, and the authenticity of any entry.
- Selection method: Winners will be selected by the Promoters based on creativity, authenticity, and relevance to the campaign brief. The Promoters may appoint a judging panel. The Promoters’ decision is final and binding.
- The Promoters reserve the right to audit entries for fraud, duplicate submissions, manipulation, or other irregularities and to disqualify any entrant acting dishonestly.
6. Prizes
- Prize pool: 25 tickets to the Soweto Derby at FNB Stadium on 28 February 2026.
- Non transferable: Prizes are non transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may not be exchanged for other goods or services.
7. Winner Notification, Verification and Ticket Collection
- Winners will be announced on 26 February 2026 and contacted by direct message on the social platform used for entry.
- Response window: Winners must respond to the Promoters within 12 hours of notification and provide proof of identity (valid South African ID book or smart ID card) as instructed. Failure to respond or provide required verification within 12 hours may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternative winner.
- Winners will be provided with instructions on where and when to collect their tickets. No transportation, accommodation, or other travel costs will be provided by the Promoters. Winners are responsible for their own travel arrangements. Consideration may be given to participants who reside in the same city/province as the match, but no travel will be supplied.
8. Intellectual property and licence to use entries
By entering, participants grant the Promoters a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish, adapt, edit, and display the entry (including name, image, and caption) for marketing, promotional, and publicity purposes across any media without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Participants warrant that their entry is original, does not infringe third party rights, and that they have obtained all necessary consents from any person appearing in the entry.
9. Data protection and marketing communications
Personal information collected will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and used to administer the Competition and contact winners. By entering, participants consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of their personal data for these purposes. Participants may opt out of direct marketing by notifying the Promoters in writing.
10. Platform disclaimer
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform used to submit entries. By entering, participants acknowledge they are submitting their entry to the Promoters and not to the platform.
11. Disqualification, fraud and verification
The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any entry that is offensive, defamatory, fraudulent, or not in accordance with these Terms. The Promoters may require winners to provide proof of identity and residency and may refuse to award a prize if such proof is not provided. The Promoters reserve the right to investigate suspected fraud and to take appropriate action, including legal action.
12. Liability and indemnity
Except to the extent prohibited by law, the Promoters, their affiliates, agents, and suppliers will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance of the prize. Participants indemnify the Promoters against any claim arising from their entry, including third party claims for infringement or defamation.
13. Variation, suspension and termination
The Promoters reserve the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice where reasonably necessary, including where circumstances beyond their control make it impractical to continue. Any such change will not unfairly prejudice participants who have already entered.

15. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
16. Facebook
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with FACEBOOK. You agree that you are submitting your entry to the owner of the FACEBOOK business page and not to FACEBOOK themselves.
