Studio 88, in partnership with Soul Candi, proudly presents The Mix on the Move: Next Gen—a platform that gives rising talent the opportunity to shine! With exciting cash and clothing prizes, participants also gain invaluable industry exposure and access to production learning and mentorship opportunities.

Competition Phases

1. Phase 1: Submissions

         From Thursday, 29 August 2024 to Thursday, 12 September 2024, participants were invited to submit a 2-minute track at www.soulcandi.co.za/studio88  and share their submission on TikTok, X, Instagram, or Facebook, tagging @studio88.

2. Phase 2: Top 10 Announcement & Public Voting

        The Top 10 selected entries will be announced on Monday, 16 September 2024. Public voting opens on Wednesday, 18 September 2024 and runs until Sunday, 22 September 2024. Don’t miss the chance to support your favourite artists!

3. Final Judging & Winner Announcement

        The final decision lies with our expert panel. Winners will be announced on Thursday, 26 September 2024. The judges' decision is final.

Terms and Conditions

Winner Notification & Prize Collection

• Winners will be contacted via the details provided in their entry form.
• Prizes must be collected from a Studio 88 store with a valid ID, driver’s license, or passport.
• Prizes cannot be split, transferred, or redeemed in parts.

Publicity & Privacy

• By entering, participants agree to allow the use of their name, image, and submissions for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
• Entrants’ personal details will be used solely for competition purposes in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

General Rules

• The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Studio 88 reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition due to technical issues.
• The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook.
• The competition is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and participants agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
